Core Loop is looking for highly motivated people to be part of a small, remote team looking to create the next generation of MMO games. We’re looking for others who appreciate a fast-paced environment, can help out wherever possible and enjoy a flat, no-nonsense company structure. If this sounds like fun, we’d love to hear from you!

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced level artist to help build an unannounced massively multiplayer cross-platform title. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Place trees, mountains, buildings, vfx and other decorative objects

  • Create terrain heightmap

  • Paint terrain textures

  • Iterate on feedback given by Art Director & Game Design at all stages of development

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in high quality environment creation

  • Created 3D environments for a shipped game

  • Experience with Unity

Nice-to-haves:

  • Expert knowledge of Zbrush, Maya and Substance

  • Experience with working on topdown games like a MOBA or RTS

  • Experience creating terrain-based game levels
